Hi everyone, and welcome to Misdirect.
I created this forum because I felt there really wasn’t a modern UK-focused space for magicians, mentalists and performers to properly talk, share ideas and build a genuine community together anymore.
A lot of discussion these days is spread across random Facebook groups, disappearing Discord chats or older forums that have slowly died off over the years. I wanted to try and create something that brings that sense of community back, but with a cleaner, more modern feel focused around discussion, performance and creativity.
Whether you’re into card magic, close-up, mentalism, parlour, stage, coin work or just have a passion for the art, everyone is welcome here.
The goal for Misdirect is pretty simple:
Create a friendly and active UK magic community
Encourage discussion around performance and presentation
Share reviews, ideas, releases and experiences
Support creators and performers
Build a place people actually enjoy returning to
This is still very early days, so the community will grow over time, but hopefully with the right people joining we can build something genuinely worthwhile together.

Help get conversations going
Most importantly, just keep things respectful and positive. Healthy discussion and differing opinions are absolutely encouraged, but exposure, piracy and personal attacks won’t have a place here.
